In Tommerup, Denmark, belts have been a family business for three generations. Morten Levorsen opened his factory in 1989, two hundred meters away from his parents'; today he works there alongside his son Anders, and in 2024, Molebo—a brand dedicated exclusively to belts—was born in that same factory. Every piece is handmade and can require over fifty production steps. The leathers come primarily from Italian tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group, while the buckles come from Italian suppliers. The Western influence is present, but in the details: silver buckles, calf hair, suede, and ostrich-effect leather, alongside more essential black leather belts. Unisex belts designed to be worn with jeans and work trousers.
