Founded in 2015 by Alex James in Los Angeles, PLEASURES draws from musical subcultures: punk, post-punk, metal, hardcore, new wave, and goth. Inspiration comes from nights at New York venues like CBGB's, Tramps, and Maxwells, among graffiti kids, artists, skaters, straight-edgers, punks, and the LGBTQ+ community.
